From Yokohama to the Okita arc
The Troupe has made it through so far thanks to the help of not just Akizuki Youjirou, but the skills of Kanna Sakyounosuke as well. Soutetsu, however, takes a one month sojourn leaving the troupe with nothing to do for a while, completely unaware that he is procuring a vessel to help him obtain the Head.
But he returns and has things come to a close as Nakaiya, the Head, Soutetsu and the Troupe converge after he instructs them to sneak into the house where Katsu Kaishuu and Saigou Takamori are meeting.
It is there that Soutetsu obtains the Head, and the Troupe finally kills Nakaiya and realises their revenge.
But now what? The mission of the troupe is over. Furthermore, Soutetsu is no longer with them and is taking his own independant action. Kanna has sided with Nakaiya and Akizuki is in Edo looking for Okita Souji.
The individual members start having to take up their own jobs to sustain themselves - for example, Kobako works at a quaint Western-styled cafe, and Kakashi does manual labour at the harbour.
Kakunojou comes to the conclusion that it's about time for the troupe to dissolve...
