Oryou おりょう

Sakamoto Ryouma's widow.

Oryou arrives in Yokohama in episode 9 on Glover's boat, looking for Akizuki in order to pass on the unsaid words of her late husband, Sakamoto Ryouma. She was like an elder sister to Akizuki for the two months he served as Ryouma's bodyguard and couldn't contact him for the longest time since he left without a word after being released from confinement.
In her search for Akizuki she meets up with the troupe - knowing that Kakunojou has actually played as her own self before - and is directed to Edo, but will she find Akizuki?
The real Oryou was described as being very pretty but not particularly bright, and her real name was Narazaki Ryou (楢崎龍). It is said that when Ryouma was attacked at Ikedaya, she ran out of the bath naked to alert him. Later she got married to Ryouma, and they went on what many call Japan's first honeymoon.
