Kanna was born in London to a well-known tayuu from Yoshiwara, a famous red-light district in Edo, and his father was a vice-admiral in the British Navy.
He is introduced by Parkes as a bodyguard to Katsu Kaishuu. He uses two guns, which come in handy at rather convenient times.
While he ought to be maintaining neutrality, he inevitably interferes in the troupe's affairs. Kakunojou's face also reminds him of his dead mother...
But early on in the anime, he starts to make certain moves...
